About Me

Originally from Burlington, VT, Jaime Karnes, editor-at-large for fiction at The Utopian, has been nominated for two Pushcart Awards. She has received fellowships from the MacDowell Colony, Virginia Center for Creative Arts, the Millay Colony, and two from The Corporation of Yaddo. Her fiction and non-fiction has appeared in GRANTA (New Voices), Adirondack Review, Storyglossia, PopMatters, Identity Theory, and Etude Magazine among others. A graduate of the Rutgers-Newark MFA program, she is currently at work on her first novel.
