Originally from Burlington, VT, Jaime Karnes, Assistant Professor at Southern New Hampshire University, has been nominated for numerous Pushcart Prizes. She has received multiple fellowships from the MacDowell Colony, Virginia Center for Creative Arts, The Corporation of Yaddo, as well as one from the Millay Colony. Her fiction and non-fiction has appeared in GRANTA (New Voices), Adirondack Review, Storyglossia, PopMatters, Identity Theory, and Etude Magazine among others. A graduate of the Rutgers-Newark MFA program, she is currently at work on her first novel. She is represented by PJ Mark of Janklow and Nesbit.
