I
wish
someone
would
teach
me
how
to
break
a
line
crack
it
not
like a
twig
or
chicken
bone
like
whip.
the big mystery, to me
This story has no tags.
The ending really pays off.
Not always easy to find the line break.
This is great. *****
For this one, it's line-break perfection. *
Really admirable, a poem that seems to be about nothing but itself and then steps out into another world.
Crack that whip!*
If you read my "I don't Understand Poets" you'll see that you just did what I can't figure out, which is make this work. I would say that Darryl Price knows sumat about line breaks, but of course this piece does not need one. Well written!
Thanks everybody for the interesting and supportive comments. I love being read by writers.
"like a whip" YES! *
Thank you Emily.
