I am extremely humbled to learn that two of my Noir flash works have been nominated for the prestigious Derringer Award by the Short Mystery Fiction Society.
Established in 1996, the Short Mystery Fiction Society is a worldwide group of writers, editors, publishers, and readers. Through informative discussion, publicity efforts, and the annual Derringer Awards, they promote the creation, publication, and appreciation of short mystery and crime fiction.
Seventy-Two Hours or Less published at A Twist of Noir and Pewter Badge published at Yellow Mama have both been nominated in the Short Story Feature category.
Thanks to Chris Grant at ATON and Cindy Rosmus at Yellow Mama for showcasing my work.
Winners will be announced at the end of the month and I am in some fine company to be sure.
