Thrice Publishing is announcing it's 2016 open call for novella-length fiction. The submission period starts May 1 and runs through July 31. Guidelines are on our website, and work is only accepted through the Submittable portal. Go to http://www.thricepublishing.com/submissions.html
There is no reading fee. This is a for-pay gig.
What is a "writer-centered payment process?"
A higher percentage royalty than most presses. We purchase the copyright in your name on your behalf. The contract has a limited term after which the work is 100% property of the author. A monthly statement rather than quarterly or yearly. And we use this reference as a model wherever possible:

We will be putting out a title by Joel Allegretti this summer. If you know him or are familiar with him, I urge you to feel free to contact him and see how he thinks the process is going. Thanks!
Thanks for the info.
Nice!
I had a submittable portal, back in my college days.
