I will be guest editing fiction for the June issue of Scissors and Spackle. I'd love to see some Fictionauters' work coming through my in-box. The general editor will forward me the best pieces after they make it past the slush pile, so please send me something good! Here are the submission guidelines:

Thanks!
Be warned. This does not work easily. I had to give a password twice--which I made up on the spot and wrote down on a piece of paper right beside me--and then was told it wasn't my password!, in order to even submit. Maybe you'll have better luck than me. Hope so. I just get so tired of these stupid media hoops you have to jump through everytime just to get a work of art into someone's hands. It's dumb and frustrating.
I'll send a note to Jenny with that info., DP. Sorry they make it so hard.
Joani, thanks for the heads-up. I like S&S, and Jenny Catlin writes kind thoughtful rejections :) Sending some poems your way.
Hi Mark: I'm wearing a fiction hat this time. The poems will go to someone else, but please, by all means, send away! If you happen to have any stories lying around longing for a new home, send them my way. Thanks.
Oops, missed the fiction part, reading too fast, my bad :)
Just had a read of the latest issue there. Great stuff. I'll be sending you something you haven't seen.
Did you see across the top of the 'submissions' page:
"We are now accepting submissions for our Issue VII, June 23rd 3012."
!!
I've heard of long response times, but a century takes the cake!
I didn't see a deadline for subs, though.
Sally-- Sometimes it takes a 100 years or so to "digest" great submissions.
Laughing!
In that case, mine should be out of your system by about noon.
That's great news, Joani. Good for you.
