  The poem has an audience beyond just poets although poets, even the most trained and discriminating, will fall in with its rhythm. It seems like a poem that could be etched on a broadside as well as xeroxed as a recovery handout, and that way help someone, more than one.

  There is a chanting quality here which creates a groove allowing the litany—honest and insistent, rhythmic and moving
