I am a student at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. I will be graduating in May 2012 with degrees in political science and Spanish. I am currently pursuing potential careers in government, the non-profit sector, or considering moving to Los Angeles or New York to pursue the dream of becoming a screenwriter.
I write to come to terms with emotions and events in my life. I have found writing is my preferred means of grasping these emotions and understanding complicated events. I also write to ask questions--why did an event occur? Why did I feel this way? I also write as a way to exercise my imagination and imagine being a different person or living a different life. Writing is truly a passion for me.
My favorite authors include F. Scott Fitzgerald, Charles Bukowski, Kurt Vonnegut and Walker Percy.
