I'm a freelance and a fiction writer: Flash fiction, short stories, novels. I spent five years as a newspaper reporter, but left that career when I reached for a bigger paycheck. The bigger paycheck was nice, but my heart belongs to writing, so I'm back again.

Why do you write?

I wish I could answer this question, but I find when I think about it too much, I stop writing.

Hey girl, just got an invite last nite, so figuring out this place. There's gazillions of folks here. Yeah, it IS intimidating -- and no, I haven't posted here, I'm in semi-reclusion trying to get to The End on a novel. May throw up a poem, but trying to figure out if that makes it a pub or not. Ditto on #fridayflash -- miss the comraderie, the positive feedback, the hits to my blog.
