Meg Wolitzer is the author of the novels The Wife; The Position; The Ten-Year-Nap, and, most recently, The Uncoupling. She has taught at the University of Iowa Writer's Workshop and in the MFA program at Columbia University's School of the Arts. Her short fiction has appeared in The Best American Short Stories and The Pushcart Prize. Wolitzer lives in New York City.
