I am currently teaching English at Walkersville High School in Frederick, MD. I am a runner and a writer, though I don't find myself making enough time for either one most days.
Some days I just need to write; the energy it gives me and the rush I get when something good comes out of my writing is tremendous. Most days, I don't have this feeling and I don't write at all.
Paul Auster, Italo Calvino, Lydia Davis, Sheila Heti, Russell Edson... I love the book House of Leaves. I am a huge fan of flash fiction and prose poetry, though I still don't quite know the difference between them...
