I'm a storm chaser (yes, as in tornadoes...), poet, actor, playwright, screen and fiction writer.
As Z.N. Hurston once said: "There is no agony like bearing an untold story inside you."
Annie Proulx, John Le Carre, Aimee Bender, Cormac McCarthy, Anne Tyler, Stephenie Meyer, Marie Howe (poet), and Margaret Atwood.
Thanks, Lori for your nice comment on "A Forest."

Hey Lori, thanks for your comment and fave on "Lettie"
Lori - thank you for visiting "Sit in Here" and for your warm comment on the story. Best, Meg
Lori, thanks for reading "Sage". Being in New Mexico was very much a dream come true for me. So glad you enjoyed the story!
Strangely enough I remember Margaret Atwood as a poet I read and admired long before she became famous as a novelist. I always thought she had amazing abilities as a poet and have to admit I was kind of saddened to see her championed in another discipline. I don't begrudge her the fame I just wish it was for being a poet.
Thanks for the invite. I read your story "Relics" and liked it very much. The details ring true. The ending is effective- tight use of symbols, without being maudlin. Cool!
As a former Catholic schoolgirl, I give it a hearty "hosanna". I'm glad to see someone is producing new work that's fun to read.
