Strangely enough I remember Margaret Atwood as a poet I read and admired long before she became famous as a novelist. I always thought she had amazing abilities as a poet and have to admit I was kind of saddened to see her championed in another discipline. I don't begrudge her the fame I just wish it was for being a poet.
