I have a Master in Archaeology, am currently studying Library Sciences, but tend to procrastinate on all that by reading. I have a passion for books, but lately have undergone a digital shift. I am very curious about where the new publication formats can take fiction, and started a magazine on online fiction at Ergofiction.com.
I think of myself more as a reader than a writer.
Songs, life, my imagination. I write because I have stories that want to be told.
I'm very ecclectical. I adore Elizabeth Gaskell, the Brönte Sisters, Jane Austen, Thomas Hardy, Salinger (except for Catcher in the Rye, which was horrible), Fitzegerald, J.R.R. Tolkien, G.R.R. Martin, Walter Moers, Peter Verhulst, Hugo Claus, Harry Mulisch, and many, many more.
I'm also a big fan of independent authors who publish online, because of the easy and enjoyable breaks they have often given me. Noteworthy mentions would be Nomesquefiction.com and MeilinMiranda.com
Favorite books depend on the moment, but currently I'd say, The City of Dreaming Books by Walter Moers, and North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell.
