Why do you write?

As Aimee Bender wrote, "I want to be violated by insight." That's what I want to do to my readers.

Clicked on your blog & saw your post about pay rate versus street cred for things like McS's Internet Tendency... totally agree. Also, I think the criteria are different for what will be seen as valuable credits in lit v. spec communities.
