About Me

I grew up in Middle Tennessee, just north of Nashville on the Kentucky border. I attended George Mason University, graduated in '06 with a degree in creative writing. I have worked as the assistant editor of a financial trade magazine and done some freelance writing. Currently I live in Nairobi, Kenya where I work with tea farmers and eat a lot of bananas.

Why do you write?

Absurdity, acceptance, factoids.

I write because it steadies me.
