“Oh. Oh!” The Zin registers blackcurrants, complexity. “And the plan?” she asks.
He chews a mouthful, spits out dark purple and signals the winery host to pour.
"Time for a Cab," he says.

I changed this up a bit. Esp the last line.
Used to read "...host to pour, already onto the next." but I think this is stronger. Thoughts?
Is the "he" in the first line challenging?? It's meant in the sense of "I'm in a pregnant relationship" and obviously meant to be a bit provocative but the lack of comments makes me wonder if it (unintentionally) offends. Or is it just a crappy story?
