Maybe I'm reading much more into this but as I see it, it's a statement on mankind. Nice.
Just checked out the matched image and love what you made of it.
i like it finnegan!
something dangerous under the surface of the colourful flags, sad reality
thanks guys-i dont think, as things stand on this planet, that you can read too much into it...i think it is a statement on mankind (though i didnt set out to do that), and thanks for the observation on the flags, too. it is sad...lots to be said about it. but there's also hope (through the children of men).
I wish I'd written these words: "Their clothes were coloured flags of countries undreamed of that withstood all weathers like perennial plants and harboured machine guns, automatic rifles and grenade launchers made by the best for the boisterous." Yes to this piece.
thank you sam, what a lovely thing to say.
I just saw this one... I love your interpretation of the image. Great piece!
Without seeing the image, I'm getting great, maybe better stuff, like Godard a little and a funny Rodney Dangerfield line and color. Laminated cool anyhow.
