When I write my rejection letter for inclusion with my submission, should I include the impossible task for my acceptance with terms myself or will you add that?
Thanks!
Maybe. Look, shiny!
Thanks for inviting me to the group!
I love the terms of this lit mag!
My own terms would be like online fantasy game tasks:
Kill 10 dire rats.
Kill 5 cupachabras.
Find Goldilocks and bring her home and avoid the bears.
How many rejections do you have to collect to level up?
We only accept submissions accompanied by the rejection letters you, the author, wish us to send you when we reject your work.
We soften the sting of our rejections by rebranding them as acceptances with terms. We make the terms impossible.
For example, we use fairy tales as inspiration. "Fetch me the goose that lays the golden eggs."
The current issue is in the style of a 12 year old girl focused on unicorns, cute boys, and menstruation.
Warning: We reject all submissions containing sparkly vampires involved in sexual affairs with human girls 1/10th their age. And Justin Bieber.
This is a public group.
Anyone can see it and join.
