I thought about starting a group for Folded Word, but chickened out. I'll blame it on my sinus infection.
Doesn't work? Oh well.
Looking forward to playing here.
Cheers!
Thanks Jessi!
Fn is a pretty neat place. If anyone posts any of their Nanos (previously published or forthcoming—I don't care), make sure to add them to the group.
Do you want this as purely Nanoism nanos or would you want to expand it to nanos in general (i.e. PicFic contributors could post as well)? Just curious.
Anyyttthing! Fictionaut apparently has a minimum limit of 200 characters and there's also also the description box, so there's plenty of space to not only post stories (singular or plural) but any extra tidbits that might be interesting as well. We're all in this together, and there a tonz of good stories that have zero to do with Nanoism.
Short fiction is short fiction, no matter how small.

very cool, ben and jessi. hopefully the msnbc piece will give some exposure to this interesting (and challenging!) market. david
Agreed! At this point, I'm also just insanely curious to see how it turns out.
So there's this publication. It's called Nanoism. It has exceptionally short stories.
But more than just celebrating itty-bitty writing and discussing shorter and shorter fiction, let's maybe think about brevity itself: about capturing a moment or a story like a fly snatched from the air, about distilling our writing down to its tiny, easily-digestible core.

Anyone can see it and join.
