    if the invite function is working?

    Or if it's just me.

    They go out on my end, but don't reach the recipient.

    Have messaged Jurgen/Carson, but would be good to know if anyone else is encountering this.

    Probably the mailer got stuck again. They fix it pretty fast when it comes to their attention.

    I had no invites to give so I sent the general invite link to a friend. She sent it in but has not heard back, so it sounds like the whole system is fried.

    Hope Jurgen gets my email!

    Nigerians? I thought they were political refugees from Rwanda. It's okay, though, since they're bringing me a 20% fee from their $4.5 million dollar account at the Bank of Burundi for sponsoring their visa.

    Javed - you just have to message Jurgen Fauth and ask for them. The system does seem to be down, however.

    Like minded people, not dedicated to anything but quality fiction and/or poetry could work toward acquiring this site under new management or... with some help from technically oriented friends, develop a new site of their own with rules that are devoted to consistent monitoring of content and activity and encouragement of serious (as opposed to frivolous) work.

    Absentee landlords are and have been a problem, but it's not really our house, so...

    So....has anyone had any luck communicating with the powers that be? I'd really like to get my friend, who is very talented, to join Fictionaut.
    Also, if any of you have commented on my older stories, I thank you. Since I'm not getting ANY notifications from this site, it's often hard to realize when someone comments.

    I've sent and received messages through the Fnaut message function. But you *do* have to check the little message icon to catch messages, since they don't appear in the e-mail inbox like they're supposed to.
