SO you just gotta love hush puppies and grits with red eye gravy?

Born in New England, bred a Tar Heel. Peace...

I might be able to dig up an Outerbank Clam or a High Point High story

I'm not a big fan of hush puppies, but I love grits and NC BBQ.

But I grew up mostly with German and Italian food.

And truth be known: I wasn't born a Tar Heel, but a Kentucky Brier. NC is where I lived the longest. I've moved around a lot, but hope to get back to NC one of these days.

Would love a story/poem about High Point or the Outerbanks.

Matthew, I'm joining but I don't have any stories set in that region. Perhaps a poem with a geographical bent that could be about "anywhere"?

    Ms. Tepper,

Thank you for joining. Anything you want to send is fine. It does not specifically need to be about NC. Something about the South, though, would be nice.

Representing Carolinians of the Southern variety, South Carolina, that is.
