Quentin S. Crisp's writing has been an influence both on me and on the author he interviews over at Turtleneck Press http://turtleneckpress.com/news-interviews-reviews-emus/quentin-s-crisp-interviews-james-tressel/. This interview is for James' chapbook, "Furnace."

Good interview. And I thought <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quentin_Crisp">Quentin Crisp</a> was history. But you can't keep a good man down.

Quentin was a regular back in the day when I worked the graveyard shift at 103 2nd Avenue. He was such a delightful customer, full of life and over the top!

"Quentin S. Crisp (born 1972) is a British writer and publisher of supernatural fiction. Unlike the better-known personality of the same name, this Quentin Crisp was given the name at birth but, being younger, must use his middle initial to disambiguate."

Well then, I change this to: "You can't keep a good name down." Happy?

There's a weird synchronicity at work. This week's <a href="http://freewillastrology.com/horoscopes/capricorn.html">horoscope for Capricorn</a> begins with: <blockquote>"The consuming desire of most human beings is deliberately to plant their whole life in the hands of some other person," said British writer Quentin Crisp. </blockquote>

    I told you something's afoot.
