  This story is a heartbreaker in every direction, and told with so much truthful force to the writing. Nobody wins here and the protagonist is aware every second. A very fine story.

  Very musical. Very honest. I was deeply engrossed in the story. Very complete for its length. An entire novel there. Good work.

  Thank you both - ah this story went through a number of rewrites and restructures and submissions. But we got there in the end ... thanks for reading and appreciating and commenting. Musical? Yes, rhythmic at least.
