About Me

My fiction has been published in or at The Pacific Review, Kitchen Sink, Fiction, Thin Air, The Fiddlehead, American Short Fiction, Ramshackle Review, and The Owls. I just finished my M.F.A. I want to publish my novel. I want to go back to Italy. I want to save the animals.

Why do you write?

There's too much going on in my head.

Any favorite authors? Books?

Does saving the animals include saving people? I agree,if we could possibly see the interconnectedness of all beings we would treat everything--food,manufacturing,travel,entertainment,etc.--differently,more kindly and possibly promote peace.

I'm a lousy whistler, too, but boy if I could I'd do the same for you. (And throw in a huge while I'm at it.) Thanks for your note on Tomorrowland. I loved your observation about teeth.

Stephanie,

Loved Cigs (my own shorthand). I really appreciate that you're looking up my work. Please do comment, negatively or positively about my Things I Should Have Done series. I do have other pieces up as well. You might find The First Date Questionnaire of interest!

Marc Lowe – May 21, 2010

Appreciate the comments on "Tails." No offense taken re: your comments about King. I read a lot of his work when I was a teenager, actually, though stylistically/aesthetically I wouldn't say he's an influence (at least not consciously). In any case, thanks for reading...

Stephanie Bobo – May 21, 2010

Thanks much for your perceptive comments on "Classmates," Stephanie!
