I recently completed a master's degree in Shakespeare at University College London and I also hold a BA in English and Creative Writing from The Ohio State University. I am very much at the beginning of my writing career, but I have written for eNotes.com, Weekend Notes, Suite101.com, Galavanting magazine and Nationwide Insurance and copy edited for The Ohio State University Press and PhD students at King's College London.
I edit the online Shakespeare magazine http://www.MadShakespeare.com and in the past I served as Managing Editor for Absynthe Muse, a website that educated young adult writers.
Things I like: Starbucks chai tea lattes, leaky fountain pens, hot water bottles, scones with clotted cream and jam, Belgian waffles, Monsterpiece Theatre, old copies of Little Women.
More about me on my website, http://www.StefaniePeters.com. I also have a love/hate relationship with Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/stefaniecpeters.
I never know what I think about something until I write it down. Maybe I'm afraid that if I didn't write, I wouldn't actually think about anything.
Orlando by Virginia Woolf, and her essays too; One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez; Evelyn Waugh; Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra; Shakespeare; Little Women by Louisa May Alcott (still, after all these years); the essays of C. S. Lewis; Surprised by Joy by C. S. Lewis; Jane Austen; The Pickwick Papers by Charles Dickens.
