I'm the fiction editor for Kore Press (www.korepress.org). I've just finished my first novel, a story of love and politics set in Tucson. My short stories have appeared most recently in Tin House and the New England Review, and have been awarded an O. Henry and a Pushcart. I've been a scholar at Bread Loaf and Sewanee and Tin House. Also the NEA very kindly handed me one of their fellowships a few years back. My MFA is from Warren Wilson, '05.
I'm all about literature as a means toward social justice. My blog is www.tucsonthenovel.blogspot.com
