Shaktima is a post-modern artist, who had two solo exhibitions in Palm Springs and Los Angeles. Her painting were also seen four times at the Palm Springs Art Museum. "The Goddess Journey", a series of 33 paintings, was featured at the International Museum of Women. Her work was also sold at the Whoopi Goldberg and Shirley MacLaine Art Auction, and exhibited at the UCLA Fowler Museum of Cultural History at the "Signs of Time" Premiere, a film on Marija Gimbutas, archeologist and author of “The Language of the Goddess”, sponsored by UCLA Women’s Studies, Women’s Heritage Project and Bellili Productions.
Since I learned how to write at 5 y.o., I never ceased to capture my train of thoughts in diaries and later on in short stories, screenplays and novels.
