My short stories have appeared in such places as: The Pushcart Prize, North American Review, Missouri Review, New England Review, Narrative, Story Quarterly.

Some of my favorite books are: The Moviegoer, and Love in the Ruins, both by Walker Percy; One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (Ken Kesey); Son of the Morning Star (Evan Connell), Crime and Punishment,(Dostoyevsky), and various collections of short stories by Tobias Wolff, Raymond Carver, John Cheever, Flannery O'Connor, and Ernest Hemingway.
