About Me

I am a short fiction writer living in Melbourne, Australia. I write what interests me, so I don't have any particular genres or styles that I can yet call my own. I like pushing myself as a writer, discovering new skills and setting challenges. I find writing is the one thing in my life that delivers an unmatchable 'buzz' - and it's why I think I'll always be a writer.

I've had fiction and non-fiction published in a number of Australian magazines and journals, such as Griffith Review and Meanjin.

Why do you write?

I write to better understand the world I live in, and to reach the worlds I've always wanted to live in.

Any favorite authors? Books?

Some of my favourite authors are Richard Yates, Cormac McCarthy, Ray Bradbury, Graham Greene and George Orwell.
