About Me

I am the co-founder and editor-in-chief of The Lumberyard Magazine, a design and literary arts publication, letterpressed and designed by the amazing Firecracker Press. I am also Associate Editor at Sarabande Books, a non-profit literary press dedicated to publishing poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction.

I love mountains, the outdoors, any activity that takes place on a river, and, like every other cliché outdoorsy person, my dogs.

Why do you write?

I am inspired by people who break paradigms, collaborations between art forms, and thinking that if done properly, you can bring people portals to other worlds through publishing. I love to help people fall in love with writers and books. Just the thought of it now makes me want to get back to work...
