MFA at Brooklyn College. Studied under Michael Cunningham. I felt smart. I wrote two books but didn't land an agent. I got depressed. Then, I started another book. Currently, I'm far more interested in the ways new media will alter our reading habits and behaviors, including the notion of interactivity, play, and other -- preferred -- media experiences collide with traditional narrative fiction. How do we create readers out of users?
If I knew why I write, I'd put an end to that need and study buisness.
Calvino, Pynchon, Hemingway, Vonnegut, McCarthy, Postman, Jameson, Barthes, Cortazar, Yates.
