    After earning her Ph.D. in Spanish and French Literature, Kimberly turned to writing full time. She has had essays, reviews and short fiction published in The Believer, Moxie, Literary Mama and The Threepenny Review among others. Her best-selling nonfiction book, Hump: True Tales of Sex After Kids, was published by St. Martin’s in 2008. Her story “Generation” was chosen as an O. Henry “Recommended Story” in 2009. She will have short fiction in the January issue of BLIP and a piece about piano lessons upcoming in the February edition of O Magazine.

    I'm eager to read your book. Thanks so much for responding to "Things I Should Have Done - #3. Isn't it always the small choices, the small things that drive us crazy, that end up informing the roads we end up taking. I really look forward to your takes on the first 2 entries in this project of mine that was intended to get me writing flash fiction, but instead has me standing in the shower saying over and over again, "I should have...."

    David Foster Wallace. One of the few writers whose books I bought as they came out one right after the other. I treasure having those hardback first editions but even more being a reading witness to his amazing intellect and creativity.
