A New Englander by upbringing and inclination, I am a teacher, psychologist, and pastoral counselor by education. And I am a writer by passion. Over the years I have published a number of professional papers. I am also a poet and fiction writer. My poetry has appeared in numerous publications – most recently featured in Sol and publication in Spirits, and Vox Poetica. An anthology of my writings, Songs for my Father, was published by Inkwell Productions in 2002. My short stories have appeared in many places, including Legendary, Sex and Murder Magazine, The New Flesh Magazine, The Santa Fe Literary Review, Daily Flashes of Erotica Quarterly, and Bewildering Stories. I am also a contributor to Basil and Spice. In 2009 my novel, Widow’s Walk, was published and in 2010 a second novel, Memoirs From the Asylum, both by All Things That Matter Press.
I wake in the morning and have to get to it. Call it compulsion or simply addiction, writing has become my great passion. As a child I loved books, now I love creating them.
I love Vonnegut, Conrad, Steinbeck. In recent years my favorite books have been "The Things They Carried" and "Tinkers".
