Me at Work:

I'm the founder and owner of Julia Drake PR, a boutique literary publicity company that specializes in customized press campaigns, social media marketing, innovative book events, and author videos. I loveI'm also the president of the LA Chapter of the Women’s National Book Association and hold a degree in screenwriting and film from UCLA and the American Film Institute.

Me in Life:

I came to Los Angeles as a naive German Kraut. I wised up. I love to write, read, sleep, cook, eat baklava, travel to faraway places, fly the trapeze, tickle my husband, picnic, cry, laugh, bite my nails, and trick time into not going by too fast.

Why do you write?

I write about my family because they drive me nuts.
