About Me

Winner of a Transatlantic Review Award in fiction, and a fellowship in fiction from the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities, Doug Lawson’s writing has appeared in a good number of literary publications, including Glimmer Train Stories, the Sycamore Review, repeatedly in the Mississippi Review, and has received an Honorable Mention from the O. Henry Awards. For twelve years he edited the online literary magazine The Blue Moon Review, and his collection of short fiction A Patrimony of Fishes from Red Hen Press is available from Amazon.com.

Doug lives with his wife, two children, two dogs, and five chickens in California’s rural Santa Cruz Mountains. He’s an active blogger and a frequent business process and technology consultant to companies in Silicon Valley.
