About Me

My published writings have been as a reviewer of dance and visual arts, primarily for the online publications The Dance Insider and Gallery Crawl. I recently began to write short flash fiction. Current and prior leadership, arts management, and fundraising roles have included: Director of Development and External Relations, ART21; Executive Director, The Field, a service organization for performing artists; Associate Director and affiliated consultant, David Bury & Associates; Development Director, chashama; and Interim Director of Artists Services, Dance Theatre Workshop. I have an M.Litt. in the History of Art from the University of Glasgow, an M.A. in Dance from London City University, and have had an extensive career in dance as a performer, choreographer, and educator.

Why do you write?

I am most often inspired by works of art and the social interactions surrounding presentations of art.
