I'm from Texas. After a slow education I landed in New England. I've been a musician, bartender, burger flipper, poet, busboy, apiarist, radio station manager, lawn guy, short story author, fried chicken slinger, music critic, college professor, grocery clerk, book seller, and probably a few other things. I currently live in Gloucester, Massachusetts with my wife and two children.
Everything fascinates me. I don't get bored. I miss being bored, in a nostalgic kind of way. But really, our world, and how much mankind has had to grow over the past century, fascinates me to no end.
Right now I dig Tim O'Brien, Barry Hannah, Dagoberto Gilb, Richard Ford, Jennifer Egan, Debra Monroe, Alice Munro, Andre Dubus, Roddy Doyle, Sherman Alexie, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, William Giraldi, Steve Almond, Jhumpa Lahiri, Milan Kundera, Amelia Gray, etc.
Welcome, Christopher!
I'm with you, pal--I've had so many odd jobs I can't count them all, but poet seems to have stuck the most. Welcome aboard.
