am an over-intellectual, hyper-ambitious dilettante Didikai living in Seattle, WA with one smart-assed sci-fi artist husband and two cat-children, Molly Bloom and Paul Atriedes. I love serial commas, carbohydrates, triple espressos, Eddie Izzard, knitting, all things SFF, and overanalyzing things. My turn offs include ear infections, culottes, nail polish, black mold, and raisins.
I now primarily write speculative fiction, although I still occasionally produce literary fiction, essays, and freelance non-fiction. Three years after receiving my MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1998, I shortlisted in the Village Voice’s “Writers on the Verge.” A full and constantly updated ist of my publications is available at www.spitkitten.com.
