Over the last several years I've taught at a number of colleges and one correctional facility, and I've tutored in a number of writing centers. Recently I returned to school to earn my PhD in Rhetoric & Writing from the University of New Mexico, where I teach English composition and participate in the Writing Across Communities initiative. My largest project at the moment, aside from configuring my first book-length collection of poems, is the Albuquerque Community Writing Center, a volunteer-staffed, nonprofit, public-access, mobile, full-service writing center.
