revelations, minus the dying part
for whatever reason
we're afforded a clearer perspective of things.
like how people get stuck
in dead-end jobs
because you really can lose track of time like that.
and maybe when you think about the past,

to walk into a sporting goods store
and tell them you're going white-water rafting
