A place to discuss ‘With Painted Words’ and the concept of writing inspired by art.

Simply put ‘With Painted Words’ is a creative writing site that puts the adage, 'a picture paints a thousand words' to the test. The premise is that, each month, an image will be given as a visual prompt and writers will have up to one thousand words to tell the story that they are inspired to write ... using their imagination as the canvas and language as their brush.

‘With Painted Words’ accepts: Flash fiction (up to 1000 words), Micro fiction (up to 500 words), and poetry accepted.
