Hello everyone! I'm an obvious noobie here, my apologies. I'm a member of F3, and have posted my story over there - I do not know how to post it directly here yet. If you wish, this link goes to my Wordpress site where the story is: www.rabidfiction.com.
I must mention that this prompt brought back memories of a kid in primary school, and I just had to write about that. It was really not easy to write, and is maybe not too pleasant to read, but that kid was - in my opinion - a "lost child".
It is amazing what is coming out of this prompt from everyone.
This week's cue at Flash Fiction Friday is Lost Children. Street kids, runaways, the lost, the forgotten. The kids who grow up with dead fish eyes. Some transcend it, some join the vicious circle. Tackle this rough subject in 700 words, and tell us a story.
I will donate $5 to PROTECT, the National Association to Protect Children, for each entry, and Fiona will donate 5 pounds to Children 1st, a Scottish children's charity.
You can post your story to Fictionaut but to be counted, you must post a link to it at Flash Fiction Friday.
