The Glass Coin is launching its debut issue in June 2010. We want you to come celebrate with us!
The Glass Coin is a split-themed online ‘zine. In each issue we’ll examine two sides of an idea; two themes that are irrevocably connected. These themes may be as opposite as heads and tails or be as connected as two sides of the same coin.
On May 30th we’re holding a lunch party at the Guelph Youth Music Center. The Guelph Poetry Slam will be hosting an open floor Poetry & Flash slam. Come on and join in. The winner will have his or her piece appear as the first Video entry of the ‘zine.
As a special treat, we’ll have veteran spoken word artists Matthew Dryden and Dave Hudson performing. You won’t want to miss this event!
So mark Sunday, May 30th 2010 on your calendars, and come on down to the Guelph Youth Music Center on 75 Cardigan Street, Guelph ON, Room 110 at 2:00 PM.
We’ll look forward to seeing you there!

Post stories to this group if you'd like feedback from the editors of The Glass Coin. We probably won't publish something that's been published on Fictionaut; but if we like your style, we'll ask you to submit something that goes along with our themes.
NOTE: I'm behind in my reading because of the changes being made to The Glass Coin.
You don't have to be asked to submit.
Thank you for sharing with The Glass Coin Group.
