    Sweden calling!

Well, the sky was surprisingly brighter on my way to work this morning, so much so I actually wondered if I'd over-slept. We've had a very heavy winter this year; snow, snow, more snow, a shred of a sliver of sunlight, then more snow... but the sunlight did seem to appear just out of consideration to our collective sanity.
My movie script is coming along nicely.. some bizarre RL incidents have intervened (friend who I'd been told had killed herself but turned out to be alive, for example)
So the work I have done thus far has had to undergo my personal changes.
    Hi all!

Hi! I posted a piece to this group awhile back, "The Egg Whisk", which has now been published by Significant Objects as a part of their project to raise funds for the nonprofit mentoring organization Girls Write Now.

The story and actual egg whisk are up for sale on eBay until Fri. April 9th. The link to the auction is:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250608425864

I'd appreciate you considering having a look, and passing the message on to anyone else you think might be interested in acquiring this object and story for a good cause.

    Cheers!

    Sari

oh my. last time i came here was as finnegan flawnt. he's gone and now i'm here. i only came shortly to leave an interesting link about writing in english as a 2nd language that i found on the bbc worldservice radioplay competition site...i'm participating, too:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/programmes/090327_rukhsana_ahmed.shtml

she also talks about radio in particular - radio might be off putting to some non native speakers of course because it seems to be all about dialog (not true, it's almost as much if not more, about scene setting using words).

i second all of what she said and esp. the concept of "words and silence around them" i found very valuable. enjoy!
