Flash fiction - 100 to 500 words.
Please send your story in the body of your email with Submission / Theme / Story Title / Word Length in the Subject, to: edpureslush@live.com.au
Please also send a brief bio.
Simultaneous submissions - no, we'd prefer that you didn't send them to us.
BUT stories that have been already published as part of a blog or a story challenge or comp are fine to send - just let us know where they have appeared already, perhaps we may even include a link!
Poetry - only if it's funny, 12 lines maximum and rhymes. Sorry, but we believe that otherwise it's (generally) prose in artier disguise.
Stories that require a dictionary or crystal ball to interpret them are less likely to be considered.
We want fun, we want insight but more than anything, we want clear communication. And we want the excitement to start - BAM! - in the first sentence!

Group Description
Pure Slush was established in December 2010. The aim of Pure Slush is to promote fun - and less wank - in flash fiction. A bit lofty, but there you go ...
New fiction is published every Wednesday, and sometimes more frequently.
Every month a new theme (usually for fiction only) is featured.
New non-fiction is published every Saturday, and sometimes more frequently ... though not often.
