Once again, 20th Century Fox has rushed in and tried to hurry a production, thus exit Rupert Wyatt and enter Matt Reeves. Due to release May 23 of 2014, we can only wonder how this will turn out. The last time this happened we ended up with a great (well, it could have been) special efx movie but no storyline. It jumped and jittered so badly that it received the Rotten Tomato Award and Razzy to boot! Burton's vision was awesome and he had the best actors (David Warner, Tim Roth, Michael Clark Duncan - R.I.P., Helena Bonham Carter...) , costume designers (Colleen Atwood), and best makeup artists (Rick Baker), and due to the interference by Fox, ie, script changing, budget manipulation, and just plain rushing the production, it did not pan out like it was destined. NOW they're at it again causing Mr. Wyatt to leave. I can only surmise what kind of piece of excrement will be produced from a movie company that only looks at quantity instead of quality anymore.
