Nanoism turns a year old and we're celebrating with a contest to raise money for Partners in Health, a major NGO healthcare provider in Haiti. We have both free and paid entries, cash prizes, raffle giveaways of great independent literature, and bestselling author Ethan Canin is picking the winners.
Everyone gets one free entry. A $5 donation to PIH earns you five more chances to win and one chance to win some literature. Contest ends April 30, details here: http://nanoism.net/meta/nanoism-contest-for-haiti/
Ethan Canin has spoken, and the results of our contest are here:

So there's this publication. It's called Nanoism. It has exceptionally short stories.
But more than just celebrating itty-bitty writing and discussing shorter and shorter fiction, let's maybe think about brevity itself: about capturing a moment or a story like a fly snatched from the air, about distilling our writing down to its tiny, easily-digestible core.

Anyone can see it and join.
