Use this thread to inform Metazen about when and where your stories will appear.

We'll get the word out, because that's the kind of guy we are.

since friday i have a previously unpublished piece "The Funeral" out on nicole hirschi's excellent literary blog "Wordvamp":

    http://wordvamp.blogspot.com/2010/04/guest-write-finnegan-flawnt.html

since there's no author's note to that piece, here's the long and the short of it: i wrote this, i believe in the summer a week after the funeral of my uncle, who was a great artisan with a somewhat sad life. i was shocked at how dispassionate and disinterested the priest seemed during the service in the chapel. at the grave, i improvised a short speech in which i compared my uncle to a lion speculating that he'd probably be roaming the fields of elysium as one now. later that year, his first grandchild was born and they named her "leonie". and i swear my uncle's muse was present at that funeral (otherwise i wouldn't have mentioned her in the piece).

Hey all! Sorry I am a little slow at being a productive member here, there and everywhere. Such is the life of a single-parent (or any parent for that matter) during the school year.

I have a poem that went live at Referential Magazine this week titled: THE JUDAS HORSE

    http://referentialmagazine.com/contents/poetry/the-judas-horse/

It is paired with a lovely photo of 1970's kitsch by Melanie Faith, and things I played with daily as a kid. I LOVED MY LITTLE PEOPLE!
