  I am a humor writer. My work appears in The Funny Times, Humor Times, Good Housekeeping, The Christian Science Monitor and Beatniks from Spacem and I've edited close to 20 humor books. I started this group because I wanted to connect with other humor writers so we could support each other, kvetch, brag and exchange information about markets for our work.   I wrote both very sad and funny, to balance out the very sad. The sad is from micro to long short stories. The funny are all micro. I think of the sad as my serious work and the funny as my light work, but I'm not sure that's correct. Funny can be very serious and is often very difficult to pull off effectively.
