I don't mind if a story or poem has been in Fictionaut before putting it into an e-chapbook, such as the one I'm compiling now. I wouldn't list Fictionaut in the acknowledgements as a publication, and if it's taken, would like to see it referenced in the note with the piece here.
I'd like to balance it out with more women, so it's still open for submissions for a little while for the ladies. I'm being extremely picky, but it's all a matter of subjective editorial taste.

To add a publication, check the threads to see if it's already there & if not make a new thread

Body: link & any pertinent info
To update a publication (notice of closure, suspended subs, reopened subs, etc) just post in that publication's thread

maybe this would also be a good place to send stories that you need help placing--maybe a nice, smart, well read person will have a suggestion
