Hey everyone,
If you haven't come out for the Last Rites reading series, try to make it this weekend after the book festival! It's a great place to meet local writers and network. Plus, I'm reading. :)
Hope to see you there!

She holds a degree in Psychology from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC and is pursuing an MA in writing at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD where she has lived for the past eight years. She expects to graduate in the spring. Her work has appeared in Bluestem ...Magazine, and will appear in a forthcoming issue of Gargoyle Magazine.
Laura Ellen Scott's debut novel is Death Wishing (Ig Publishing, 2011) and Curio, her collection of very short, creepy stories is available online from Uncanny Valley Press. She teaches fiction writing at George Mason University.
Lisa Wells lives in Portland, OR. A writer whom Derrick Jensen calls “an
extraordinary young talent,” Wells has previously published poetry and
fiction in Plazm, Ecotone, Dunes Review, Re:Union and 400 Words. She’s
received fellowships from Caldera Arts and Hypatia House. She’s at work
on her second book, about the death of small towns, supported by a grant
from the Regional Arts and Culture Council.
